Prevention and Treatment of Massive Obstetric Hemorrhage: Masterclass Series
Workplace-based practical masterclasses held on 5–6 November 2025.
About the masterclass series
On 5–6 November 2025, the Odesa Branch of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine held a series of workplace-based practical masterclasses titled Prevention and Treatment of Massive Obstetric Hemorrhage.
The training used multidisciplinary team simulations in a delivery room and operating theatre. Team actions were recorded for structured debriefing and assessment. Participants practised staged uterine devascularisation, uterine balloon tamponade and hemostatic compression sutures using simulation models.
The event provided 8 CPD points, subject to completion of the programme tasks and final assessment.
Participants
The masterclasses were intended for on-duty multidisciplinary clinical teams consisting of obstetrician-gynecologists, an anesthesiologist, a neonatologist, delivery-room midwives, an anesthesia nurse, an operating-room nurse and supporting clinical staff.
