About the school
The professional school Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology: Today’s Challenges and Solutions will be held in Odesa on 18-19 December 2025 in a hybrid format.
The event focuses on evidence-based infectious disease practice for the safety of women and children. The programme covers infection control, antimicrobial resistance, obstetric and gynecological infections, perinatal and neonatal infection-related issues, vaccination, HPV-associated diseases, urogenital infections, TORCH infections, septic obstetric complications and interdisciplinary clinical decision-making.
CPD event number: 1019102. The organizer is the Odesa Branch of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine, official CPD provider No. 2016.
Format and certification
Working languages: Ukrainian and English.
Duration: 12 astronomical hours / 16 academic hours.
Certification is provided according to the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine after the final assessment, provided that participants achieve at least 70% correct answers.
According to the programme, on-site participants receive 13.5 CPD points, while teachers / trainers / instructors receive 18 CPD points. The industrial symposium block does not provide CPD points.
Programme summary
Day 1 - 18 December 2025 is held offline by invitation at Grand Otrada Hotel Resort & Spa, Odesa. It includes sessions on microbiological monitoring, antimicrobial resistance, infection control, obstetric sepsis, postpartum septic infections, antibiotic-associated colitis, neonatal pneumonia, asymptomatic bacteriuria, HPV-associated diseases, pelvic inflammatory disease, hospital infection control during wartime, urogenital tuberculosis and preterm premature rupture of membranes.
Day 2 - 19 December 2025 is held online. It includes sessions on infection control in an obstetric and gynecological hospital, HPV prevention and vaccination, recurrent urinary tract infections, chronic endometritis, genitourinary menopausal syndrome, miscarriage-related infection factors, vaccination during pregnancy, COVID-19 and pregnancy, nosocomial infections after gynecological surgery, infectious complications of regional anesthesia, endometrial hyperproliferative disorders, chlamydial and mycoplasma infections, and TORCH infections.
