About the professional school
The nationwide professional school Diagnostic and Treatment Approaches to Preserving Women’s Health from Birth to Maturity was held online on 24 November 2022, starting at 15:00.
The event was organised by the Odesa Branch of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine, official CPD provider No. 1118, in cooperation with Odesa National Medical University.
The CPD event number was 1008691, and the planned audience was 200 participants.
Audience and objectives
The school was intended for obstetrician-gynecologists, family physicians, urologists and surgeons.
Its objective was to support implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment approaches for gynecological and gynecological oncology conditions, as well as complications of pregnancy and childbirth.
Certification
Participants could receive 10 CPD points after achieving at least 70% correct answers in the final online assessment.
Event registration closed at 14:00 on 24 November 2022. Final assessment responses were accepted until 3 December 2022.
Main programme
The programme covered:
- innovative approaches in gynecological oncology;
- diagnosis and treatment of cervical pathology;
- adaptive behaviour in urogynecological disorders;
- 4P medicine and the vaginal microbiome;
- ultrasound signs of structural kidney changes during pregnancy;
- discussion and final conclusions.
Additional professional school
The programme also included Progesterone in a Woman’s Life: Its Role and When and How to Prescribe It, supported by Besins Healthcare.
This additional block did not provide CPD points. It addressed threatened miscarriage, personalised menopausal hormone therapy and stress-related abnormal uterine bleeding.
Assessment
Knowledge assessment was conducted online through Google Forms after the event.
