Christmas Meeting of Doctors of the Odesa Branch of the Ukrainian Medical Association

The seventeenth Christmas meeting

The tradition of Christmas meetings of Odesa-region doctors began in 2003 when Professor Oleksandr Zelinsky headed the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Medical Association.

The seventeenth meeting took place on 23 December 2022 despite the wartime conditions. Representatives of 18 medical associations reviewed their work, discussed professional achievements and priorities, and honoured colleagues, including doctors working at the frontline.

A charity fair titled “The Black Sea Will Smile Again” raised funds for medical supplies for a hospital in the Bakhmut direction. The meetings remain a symbol of professional unity, mutual support and personal connection among doctors of the Odesa region.
