Participation in the 24th FIGO World Congress
The 24th FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics took place in Paris on 9–12 October 2023. The programme included scientific sessions, surgical demonstrations, simulation laboratories, plenary lectures, debates, workshops and video classes.
Topics included prevention of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, preeclampsia, miscarriage, cesarean-scar disorders, postpartum hemorrhage, placenta accreta spectrum, gynecologic oncology and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. More than 120 countries, 500 speakers and 8,000 participants were represented.
The report highlights international support for Ukraine, Ukraine’s first representation in the FIGO leadership and presentations by Ukrainian specialists across multiple scientific sections.
